There are always questions about what and why fasting on Wednesday and Friday, on an ongoing basis throughout the year.
For that I'll explain in a simple words the following
Orthodox Christians are
fasting in remembrance of the betrayal
of Christ and His crucifixion and
death.
This form of fasting was passed

betrayal of Christ,

of the crucifixion and death.

دائما هناك تساؤلات حول ماهية الصوم و لماذا الأربعاء و الجمعة بشكل مستمر على مدار السنة

و مفهوم الخلاص
هذه هي الخيانات
المستمرة
لهذا السبب، يوم
الاربعاء، نحن نتذكر الخيانة
التي ادت الى تعرض
المسيح للاهانة و
الضرب و كل
انواع العذاب،
و نمارس الصوم
لكي نعلم انفسنا
الانضباط، و الابتعاد
عن مفهوم الخيانة
في يوم
الجمعة نحن نعيش في ذكرى الصلب والموت.
و
هي نتيجة لما
حدث يوم الاربعاء
لهذا
يرتبط الاربعاء مع
الجمعة، حيث الخيانة حصلت
الاربعاء، و الجمعة
حدث الصلب و
الموت
و
نحن البشر، كنا
سبب ما حدث،
لهذا السبب، الكنيسة
الارثوذكسية، تعيش هذه الذكرى
على مدار السنة،
كي لا نبتعد عن
مفهوم الخلاص، و
كي لا نسقط في
طريق الخيانة تجاه
الخالق و البشر
لان
الخيانة تؤدي الى العذاب و
الموت
